Parishioners were sought to &ldquo;adopt&rdquo; a college student from the parish and were given a survey to better know the interests and needs of their student. They were encouraged to sent packages, bulletins, cards, and warm messages to their adopted student. A primary purpose of his visit was to award an honorary <span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;">Gold Cross </span>to the parish rector, <strong>Father David R. Fox</strong>. In recognition of faithful and dedicated service, all present echoed <strong><em>&ldquo;Axios!&rdquo; (he is worthy!)</em> </strong>as this priestly distinction was conferred upon Father David.
