The Diocesan Council gathered with His Grace, Bishop Michael, for their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, 23 August, at the Diocesan Center. In addition to discussing various issues and making decisions affecting the life of the diocese and its parishes, there was “good news” about the Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors Program. Since the Diocesan Assembly in July, a number of new contributors [DDBs] have stepped up to the challenge of financially supporting the Vision for Our Future [V-FOF]. While the list of benefactors continues to grow, there remains a great need toward supporting missions, supporting seminarians, and supporting struggling parishes.
