Passaic NJ
Saint John the Baptist Church

The faithful of Saint John the Baptist Church in Passaic NJ had a rare opportunity for parishioners and friends to venerate the Hawaiian Myrrh-Streaming Iveron Icon of the Theotokos on 31 July 2013. The icon is renowned to have healed many of sickness, disease, and chronic pain. It currently resides at the Russian Orthodox Church in Honolulu, but frequently travels throughout the world bringing forth healing and cures to all who have shown faith and love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Most Holy Mother.

In June of 2008, the Hawaiian Myrrh-Streaming Iveron Icon was officially recognized by the Russian Orthodox Church as miraculous and worthy of veneration, and was given the blessing to travel to various churches and monasteries of Holy Orthodoxy.  Wherever the Holy Icon goes the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother abound.  People have commented that just being in the presence of this Icon, you feel such an abundance of love and joy.
