SAINT NICHOLAS DAY COMMEMORATIONS

Our Holy Father Saint Nicholas the “Wonder-Working” Bishop of Myra in Lycia is commemorated each year on 6 December. Several parishes in the diocese conducted a special day of celebration in honor of this beloved saint on Sunday, 8 December 2013. We continue in preparation and anticipation during this Nativity Fast season, and the great and holy feast-day of Our Lord’s Nativity will soon be upon us. His Grace, Bishop Michael, conveys his heartfelt wishes and prayers for a most-blessed festal season to all of the faithful of the diocese.
