Wantage NJ
Holy Spirit Church

On 21-22 June, Bishop Michael made his annual visitation to Holy Spirit Church in Wantage NJ. After the Divine Liturgy, His Grace honored parish high school and college graduates -- Mary Taylor, Morgan Perich, and Brad Perich -- presenting them with copies of the myrrh-streaming icon of Saint Anna and the Theotokos. A dinner was held in the church hall after the services.

Archpriest Samuel Kedala (Rector) greeted Bishop Michael upon his arrival. Traveling with His Grace were: Deacon Gregory White, Sub-deacon Nilus Klingel, and Reader Michael Pierce. Nine altar servers from the parish also participated in the Divine Services.

Later in the afternoon, the parish council and their spouses were invited to the rectory along with His Grace to discuss the life of Holy Spirit Church, its spirituality and ideas for continued growth and outreach to the area. The discussions were fruitful and many ideas evolved from the discussions.
