Clifton NJ
“Godspell” Performances

With the Blessing of Archbishop Michael, Holy Assumption Orthodox Church of the Blessed Virgin will present “GODSPELL” on Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th at 7:00 PM. The Orthodox Church in America youth and friends from the Clifton Community will star in this musical at the Church Hall located at 35 Orange Avenue, Clifton NJ 07013.

“GODSPELL,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, is based on the Gospel of Saint Matthew where Jesus gathers people from all walks of life and guides and teaches them through parables set in modern day life. Eventually they form a close community and are ready to go out and teach others His message. This timeless musical was on Broadway and was revived in 2012. It is a fun-filled, thoroughly entertaining, sometimes interactive show. The actors will astound you with their talent.

Tickets: $10 adults / $5 children under ten
