HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH HELD 9-11 MEMORIAL SERVICE AND PRAYERS FOR PROTECTION FROM COVID-19

Holy Spirit Orthodox Church, 102 Rt. 284, in Wantage, held its 19 th annual 9-11 Memorial Prayer Service on Friday, September 11th, 2020, in honor and remembrance of the firefighters, police, first responders, and all who lost their lives on September 11th at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville, PA.

His Eminence, Archbishop Michael of New York and New Jersey, also offered prayers for all those affected by COVID-19; for the deceased, as well as survivors; all workers including police and firefighters, doctors and nurses, emergency personnel, medical professionals, researchers and scientists; as well as prayers for a successful vaccine.

There was also a blessing of a Unionville, NY fire engine.
