Randolph, NJ: Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Tea Committee Raises Funds For Local Food Pantry

[Randolph, NJ] - On Saturday, September 17, the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Tea Committee invited fellow Randolph, NJ parishioners, family members, and friends to follow them and Alice down the rabbit hole! Nearly 100 guests enjoyed a lovely and fun afternoon tea with the Mad Hatter, aka William Cullinan. They enjoyed delicious food, wore Fascinators created by the Committee, played croquet with the Queen of Hearts, and took chances on winning one of many beautiful gift baskets.

The mission of the Church’s Tea Committee is to raise funds to support various outreach and church projects. The first tea, held in 2019, raised $4,000, donated to St. Tikhon’s Seminary. After a hiatus due to COVID, the Mad Hatter Tea profits were divided between the Church and local Interfaith Food Pantry. This Pantry serves a large population in the Morris County, NJ area. Along with a check for $2,000, 219 pounds of various food items were collected during the tea and delivered to the Food Pantry.

It was truly a fun afternoon for a good cause.
