June 30 – July 4, 2025
We had a joyful and spiritually enriching sixth annual Family Week at St. Andrew’s Camp, held June 30 through July 4 on the beautiful shores of Lake Oneida in upstate New York.
The week began with a festive welcome dinner and fiesta-themed party, complete with crafts, games, and a traditional piñata—setting the tone for a week filled with faith, fellowship, and fun.
Each day was anchored in prayer and worship, with Fr. Jason Vansuch leading morning and evening services, as well as offering engaging and accessible religious education sessions for all ages. Families took part in a wide variety of activities, including kayaking, field games, arts and crafts, and relaxing time together in nature.
A highlight of the week was our beach day at Verona Beach State Park, where families enjoyed the sun, water, and time to unwind together.
On Thursday, we were deeply blessed by the visit of our beloved Archbishop Michael, who celebrated a beautiful Divine Liturgy. All responses were sung joyfully by the participating families—truly a moment of unity and grace.
The week concluded with the moving Akathist to our newly glorified Saint Olga of Alaska, leaving many families uplifted and inspired by the experience.
Everyone departed with grateful hearts, saying what a meaningful and memorable week it had been.
Glory to God for all things!
