A Joyful Baptism in Lake George: Nicholas (Colin) Supernaw Received into the Orthodox Church

September 13, 2025 — Lake George, NY

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the Church joyfully received Nicholas (Colin) Supernaw into the Body of Christ through the Holy Sacraments of Confession, Baptism, Chrismation, and Holy Communion. The celebration took place on the shores of Lake George, where 41 people gathered to witness and participate in this sacred moment.

In attendance were Nicholas’ immediate family and many faithful from both St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Cohoes and St. Olga’s Mission in Plattsburgh. The weather was kind, the fellowship warm, and the presence of the Holy Spirit palpable.

Special thanks are offered to Archpriest Terenti Wasielewski and Father Paul Fedoroff, whose prayerful presence and pastoral care helped make the day deeply meaningful and spiritually fruitful for both parish communities.

May God grant Nicholas many blessed years as he continues his journey in the Orthodox faith.
