Join St. Olympia Orthodox Church for Its Annual Parish Feast Day Celebration

The clergy and faithful of the Diocese of New York and New Jersey are warmly invited to attend the Annual Parish Feast Day Celebration of St. Olympia Orthodox Church in Norwood, NY, on July 24-25, 2026.

The celebration will begin on Friday, July 24, with the Vigil Service at 5:00 PM, followed by a parish dinner at 7:00 PM. The festivities will continue on Saturday, July 25, with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 9:45 AM. Following the Divine Liturgy, attendees are invited to enjoy a parish picnic as well as special iconography and hymnography exhibits.

As one of the Diocese's newer parish communities, St. Olympia Orthodox Church continues to grow and bear witness to the Orthodox Faith in Northern New York. The annual feast day provides an opportunity for clergy and faithful from across the Diocese to gather in prayer, fellowship, and mutual encouragement while supporting the life and mission of the parish.

We encourage the faithful of the Diocese to join His Eminence Archbishop Michael, the clergy, and the parish family of St. Olympia Orthodox Church for this annual celebration honoring the parish's heavenly patroness. Gathering together in prayer and fellowship, we strengthen the bonds that unite us as one diocesan family and offer our support for the continued growth of this vibrant parish community.

Visitors traveling from outside the area will find a variety of camping, lodging, and short-term rental options available in and around Norwood, making it possible for families and parish groups to participate in the full weekend of festivities.

St. Olympia Orthodox Church is located at 34 North Main Street, Norwood, NY.
