Archpastoral Visitation: Christ the Savior Church, Ballston Lake, NY.

On August 21 and 22, Archbishop Michael made his archpastoral visit to Christ the Savior Church in Ballston Lake, NY. After a beautiful Great Vespers service, a meal was provided by the women of the Church to honor His Eminence in the Church hall.

The next day at Divine Liturgy, His Eminence concelebrated with parish priest Fr. Matthew Markewich and Deacon Mark Bohush, accompanied by subdeacons and altar servers. The Divine Liturgy was sung by a choir from St. Tikhon’s Seminary and Monastery community. Fr. Matthew Markewich was awarded the gold cross. After Divine Liturgy, His Eminence was presented with donations from parishioners towards the Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors Fund. Archbishop Michael blessed Reader Daniel Macko before leaving for college. Parishioners then made their way to Shenantaha Creek Park to celebrate the parish’s annual picnic.
