The theme of the upcoming issue of "Jacob's Well" will be "Philokalia: The Love of Beauty." The organizing text will be the Kontakion Hymn for the Sunday of Orthodoxy:
No one could describe the Word of the Father;
but when He took flesh from you, O Theotokos,
He accepted to be described,
and restored the fallen image to its former beauty.
We confess and proclaim our salvation in word and images.
Bishop +Michael has blessed the invitation of guest contributors. The issue will feature an article and cover photo by Christopher Burkett, a world-renowned nature photographer who attends the Church of the Annunciation in Milwaukee OR (Diocese of the West). To visit his website, click here!
