In order to fund necessary ministries and fulfill the work of the Church in the Diocese of New York and New Jersey, Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors generously contribute financial support.  Their contributions are voluntary, significant, and arise from thankfulness and gratitude to God for blessings received.

Through their generosity the diocese obtains much needed funding to build up and nourish the Body of Christ (His Holy Church).  Without them, many essential ministries would simply go unfunded and unattended.

During the year 2011, Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors support three major initiatives.  They select how the diocese will use their contributions by designating the initiative of their choice:
