The Diocesan Council and Council of Presbyters gathered with Bishop Michael on May 16 and 17, respectively, to address matters of vital importance to the “good estate” of our diocese and, specifically, the life and vitality of diocesan parishes. In serious, candid, and faithful deliberations, matters of strategic significance are being thoughtfully and seriously discussed – with associated decisions and actions being taken – toward the building-up of the Body of Christ in the diocese. With this in mind, the Diocesan Assembly has been scheduled for July 19, 2011 in Endicott NY.
