Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Manville NJ has launched a new outreach for their college students. Designed by Rebecca Oliver, an alumna from Penn State and young adult in the parish, the program is “Adopt a College Student.” The mission is to connect with college students from the parish and make sure they feel connected to their home parish. Parishioners were sought to “adopt” a college student from the parish and were given a survey to better know the interests and needs of their student. They were encouraged to sent packages, bulletins, cards, and warm messages to their adopted student. The program is off to a great start!
