A memorial service was held at Holy Spirit Church (Wantage NJ) for the victims of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks on America. The event marked the parish’s eleventh year of offering memorial prayers for victims of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Alexandria VA~Washington DC, and the fallen aircraft in Shanksville PA.  In attendance were firefighters from Unionville NY, Johnson NY, Franklin NJ and Sussex NJ.  A fellowship reception followed the service.

Concelebrating priests were: Father Christos Talleos (Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Middletown NY), Father George Kevorkian (Saint Ignatius Antiochian Church, Florida NY) and, the host rector, Father Samuel Kedala (Holy Spirit Church, Wantage NJ).
