A fundraiser party for Saint Andrew’s Camp in Jewell NY was held at Christ the Savior Church on Sunday, 6 October. Tables were beautifully and artistically decorated in fall themes for the occasion. Guests from parishes of the New Jersey Deanery were most gracious and supportive of the camp. Our children of Saint Andrew’s Camp will benefit from a $4,200 gift.  A good time was had by all!

Bishop Michael, who wholeheartedly supports the work of the camp and spends time with campers every week of the camping season, made a surprise visit along with his mother, Anna and her friend, Martha.  They graced the “November” table. His kind words and gift were graciously received with many thanks.

Words cannot describe the joy and love the people of God had at this special occasion. Chairpersons Anna Brasowski and Dr. Lidia Vlachos were in charge and did a masterful job. Leon Brasowski and sons prepared an Oktoberfest Dinner of bratwurst and chicken with appetizers and desserts prepared by various women of the NJ Deanery and Christ the Savior parish.
