Faithful Servants Honored: Archbishop Michael Celebrates Decades of Dedication at Saints Peter and Paul Parish

[South River, NJ] - On September 21 and 22 His Eminence, Archbishop Michael was at the parish of Saints Peter and Paul in South River, NJ.

On Saturday evening, His Eminence presided at the celebration of Great Vespers and preached an inspiring homily.

On Sunday morning, His Eminence was greeted by parish children with flowers along with Starosta James Kornafel with the traditional bread and salt.

After the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, Vladika Michael presented eight parishioners with Diocesan gramotas in recognizing each person's service to the parish in excess of fifty years. These faithful servants of Christ are: Pearl Berezniak, Myra Brown, Anastasia Essl, Sonja Harris-Neumyer, Janice Meade, Paula Mindzak, Robert and Joan Pisuk. Each of these faithful workers contributed their time and talent in the choir, parish council, church school, and areas of service too many to list. Many thanks, good and faithful servants.
