His Grace, Bishop Michael has issued an Archpastoral Letter to the faithful of the diocese for the Feast-Day of Holy Pentecost celebrated on 8 June 2014. In part, he writes: “Pentecost has happened to us … the fire of the Holy Spirit has been ignited in each of us. . . We are all responsible for fueling and feeding the fire that God lit in us when we were Baptized and Chrismated. . . On this glorious Feast of Pentecost, my prayer for us all is that we will ignite anew in our lives the fire of the Holy Spirit … and live for Christ and like Christ, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit -- such that our lives will be a witness to our Lord and Savior, others will be drawn to Him through us, and we will give glory to the God Who loves us more than we love ourselves.”
