The diocesan Diaconal Formation Program is a two-year course of study, accredited by Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, offered at the Endicott NY Campus (Saints Peter & Paul Church). Classes meet every Saturday of the academic year. Upon completion of the course, students are awarded the Certificate of Diaconal Formation. Completion of the course of studies fulfills the necessary academic requirements for ordination to the Holy Diaconate. In accordance with Canon Law, all decisions regarding ordination rest with the diocesan hierarch. Applications for the program beginning with the upcoming Fall Semester are now being accepted.
