His Grace, Bishop Michael, represented the Orthodox Church in America at the enthronement of the newly elected primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Sunday, 17 August 2014, in Kyiv. After the reading of the greeting of Metropolitan Tikhon on behalf of the OCA [read more here], Metropolitan Onufry was presented with relics of Saint Herman, Saint Tikhon, Saint Innocent, Saint Raphael and Saint Alexis Toth, with which he blessed the thousands of hierarchs, clergy and faithful who gathered for the occasion. In his letter to Metropolitan Onufry on behalf of the OCA, Metropolitan Tikhon wrote: "On this day, we all join in the joyful exclamation: Axios! Axios! Axios!"
