Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, the oldest Orthodox Christian Church in Buffalo NY, is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is excellent news not only for the parish but for the immediate neighborhood. A letter sent to the parish from the New York State Deputy Commissioner for Historic Preservation states: "Listing on the National Register recognizes the importance of these properties to the history of our counrty and provides them with a measure of protection."
