Saints Peter and Paul Church in Jersey City NJ welcomed Bishop Michael for an annual Archpastoral visit on 31 January to 1 February 2015.  The commemoration of the “Publican and Pharisee” (Luke 18:10-14) on Sunday marked the first preparatory Sunday leading to the beginning of Great Lent on 23 February, and the usage of the “Lenten Triodion” for liturgical texts leading to PASCHA ~ the Resurrection of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ ~ on 12 April.
