ROCHESTER NY: Recognition and Appreciation for DDBs - 07/10/16
Last updated: 2017-06-17 09:43:10

On the Sunday of All Saints, 26 June 2016, the 2015 Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors of Saint John the Baptist Church in Rochester NY received certificates of appreciation (gramota) signed by Archbishop Michael. To those present (8 of the parish’s 16 DDBs), Father Ken James Stavrevsky said: “Your contributions provide seminarians with scholarships, mission parishes with essential support, and older parishes with revitalization.” The parish community also contributed an additional  $1,000 last year in support of the DDB program. The 2016 DDB is now underway and, to date, $92,000 has been contributed by DDBs from throughout the diocese and beyond. For information on the DDB and an invitation to join them, please go HERE!
