The following events will be offered at St. Mark's Orthodox Church in Bethesda, MD:

September 23, 2007 - 35th Anniversary Celebration following Divine Liturgy. The parish will celebrate its anniversary with an enhanced coffee hour/buffet luncheon.

October 6, 2007 - FOCA sponsored "Great American Ho-Down" Family Evening following Vespers. FOCA has hosted several such themed family evenings in the past year including an "Oktoberfest", a Greek "Glendi" pre-Lenten celebration, and an "Irish Gig Night". These festive events include ethnic food, decorations, entertainment, dancing and door prizes at a nominal fee of $10-$20, and children are most welcome.

October 27, 2007 - FOCA sponsored "Education Day" Retreat with Father Thomas Hopko as the guest speaker.

November 2-4, 2007 - Annual Food Festival and Bazaar. The 2007 bazaar will be held Friday, Nov. 4th from 4-8 pm; Saturday, Nov.3rd from 11 am-8 pm; and Sunday, Nov. 4th form 12-4 pm. Ethnic dinners, baked goods, crafts, a children's boutique with gently used clothing,and a raffle/silent auction are featured. Some independent vendors have also been invited to sell their wares at this year's bazaar.

December 23, 2007 - Parish Concert and Church School Christmas Play following Divine Liturgy. The parish choir as well as talented individuals will perform, and the Church School children will present a Christmas play/tableau for the parish.
