Two-and-a-half years ago Bishop Michael’s video series, “Lessons in Our Faith,” was launched on the diocesan website. Since then, a total of 14 lessons have been produced. On a variety of subjects, each video is 8-15 minutes in length and offers a concise presentation of Orthodox teaching and practice in a straight-forward manner suitable for both church faithful and those who are not currently members of the Orthodox Church: seekers, inquirers, catechumens. On the 4th of July this year, one of the lessons (“Fasting: 7 Questions & 7 Answers”) reached the milestone of being viewed 3,000 times; in all, there have been 10,020 viewings of the videos by a world-wide audience including 27 countries.
