On the weekend of 5-6 March 2016 Archbishop Michael made an Archpastoral visit to the Saint John the Baptist Church in Alpha NJ. Archpriest Bohdan Ostash  greeted His Eminence to the church on behalf of the faithful. On Sunday morning the Divine Liturgy was celebrated followed by a home-cooked meal prepared by the parishioners. During the fellowship gathering, Archbishop Michael met with the faithful and answered their questions. Parishioners and guests were inspired by the inspirational words and prayers of their Archpastor.

After the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence and Father Bohdan, along with Matushka Mary, visited a nursing home and the “most senior” parishioner of the parish, Mary Drenchko. It was great blessing for Mary to receive Holy Communion and anointing from the Archbishop.
