On Sunday, 4 February 4 2018, Archbishop Michael visited Saint Basil’s Orthodox Church in Watervliet NY. During the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, Artёm Timofeev was tonsured as a “Reader.” Artёm and his family first joined the parish ten years ago having emigrated from Russia. Artёm is a CPA having completed his higher education at SUNY Albany. He was an altar server at Saint Basil’s, attended summer camp as a camper and counselor at Saint Tikhon’s Monastery, and participated Altar Servers Retreat of our diocese. Artёm also has assisted Archbishop Michael as his driver, traveling the lengths and breadths of the diocese.
