On January 18th and 19th, 2020, Fr. Igor Yakunin together with the faithful of Saint Spiridon Chuch welcomed His Eminence Archbishop Michael for his annual Archpastoral visitation. The visitation coincided with the parish's celebration of the Feast of Theophany of Our Lord (Julian Calendar). On Sunday, January 19, following the celebration of Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, His Eminence presided over the Great Blessing of Water and blessed the church's building and the faithful with Holy Water. During the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Michael awarded Father Igor Yakunin with the gold cross, in recognition of his faithful service to the church for the past 10 years. Axios!
