As we go back to a school year that is vastly different from the last,
many of our Diocesan parishes are in need of a timely, streamlined
Christian Education Program
One that is…
-easy to use in socially distanced settings and virtual meeting groups
-works for K-12, and even adults
-an online format for distanced learning
-able to be presented with minimal or advanced teaching experience
We are pleased to offer…
Each week’s lesson is sent directly to your email and will explore the feasts,
fasts, saints, liturgical services, and lectionary of our Orthodox Faith.
Each week’s lesson will include:
The popular 2-4 page full-color handouts featuring a summary of the week’s
commemoration, the hymns (troparia/kontakia) and scripture readings (epistle/gospel)
of the week, along with an assortment of educational activities
Corresponding study guides prepared in lesson format for four age groups:
Level 1: Grades K-2
Level 2: Grades 3-5
Level 3: Grades 6-8
Level 4: Grades 9-12 & Adult
Questions and answers to spark conversations with youth in each age group
Discussion topics and lessons exploring the:
Liturgical Life of the Church
Feasts & Saints
Daily Living (Contemporary Social issues)
Instead of an in-person Diocesan Church School Conference this year, we will be offering
a Zoom Training Session to learn about the program & how simple it is to teach
Orthodox Journeys to multiple age levels.
When: September 10, 7:30 PM (ET)
Register in advance for this meeting:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about
