The baptism of Maria Photini on September 7 was performed by Father Martin Kraus and Father John Morris at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in East Meadows, NY. Fr John and Ioannis Sanchez provided catechism to Maria Photini in Spanish as part of the Spanish Ministry of the Diocese of New York and New Jersey.

Fr Martin and the crew from Holy Trinity in East Meadow brought a little Philly to Long Island, making 60 Philadelphia Cheesesteaks on September 11 with fresh Amoroso rolls imported directly from the Philadelphia bakery. Close to $500 was raised for St Tikhon’s Monastery new monastic housing.
