[Binghamton, NY] - On the weekend of December 4th, His Eminence Archbishop Michael visited Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Binghamton New York for a pastoral visit and to award Pdn Andrew Boisvert the Kamilavka for his 20 years of service.
Great Vespers was served Saturday evening, followed by Sunday’s Hierarchical Divine Liturgy The services were well attended. The clergy who served alongside Vladyka were parish Archpriest Ilya Gotlinsky and guest retired Archpriest Myron Oryhon, Pdn Stephan Karlgut, Subdeacon Zachary Parisi, and altar servers Alexey Jr Karlgut, Michael Karlgut and Andrew Karlgut. The choir sang beautifully and was directed by Matushka Julia Gotlinsky.
A delicious brunch was enjoyed by all after the liturgy in the church undercroft. It was a joyous occasion, and many were happy to be together again! Eis Polla Eti Despota! Many years Vladyka!
