Plattsburgh Mission Thrives: New Family Joins Monthly Divine Liturgy, Website Launched, and Name Search Begins

On May 20th, 2023, 13 people came to the Plattsburgh Mission to celebrate its monthly Saturday Divine Liturgy. This month we welcomed a new family who just moved to the Plattsburgh area. To date, we have 19 people who have attended or expressed interest in being part of the mission.

After the Divine Liturgy, the group enjoyed a Paschal meal and talked about future endeavors. A website for the mission was created by Orthodox Web Solutions: . The group is interested in having a name for the mission, and many ideas were expressed. Archbishop Michael will be visiting the mission on August 19th and will be able to give more guidance on the selection of a name for the mission. The next Divine Liturgy is scheduled on Saturday, June 24th, at the Nativity of John the Baptist.

We ask your prayers for the growth and success of the Plattsburgh mission!
