ARCHPASTORAL VISITATION TO ENDICOTT, N.Y., ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

On Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, His Eminence Archbishop Michael presided over the services at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Endicott, NY. The clergy and faithful gathered around their archpastor in joyful love and fellowship.

A highlight of the visit was when Reader Luke Pylypciw was blessed to wear the Orarion.  Luke is headed to college and has been a faithful altar server for most of his life. His service is an example to the faithful and especially the other young men in the parish.  A Panikhida for the reposed members of the armed forces was served, with the people joining their prayers to Archbishop Michael’s.

After Liturgy, a festive meal was served of local favorite dishes.  It was a blessed and beautiful day.  The unity and agape love within the Church was joyfully celebrated, and the hope of the future was evident.

May God continue to bless the clergy and the faithful parishioners of Saints Peter and Paul Church!
