Archbishop Michael visits the faithful at Mother of God Joy of All Who Sorrow in Princeton, NJ. Having to postpone his pastoral visit due to Covid last year the faithful were happy to have their Archpastor visit. Archbishop Michael's sermon focused on the upcoming feast of the Cross, and the importance of sacrificial love, and service to others as manifestations of the commandment to love one another. Students from St. Vladimir's' Seminary lead the faithful in singing the responses for the Divine Liturgy, and share their calling to study at St. Vladimir, and their ministry vocations. A special collection was taken for members of Mother of God who suffered losses from the recent hurricane, and the appeal for the Afghan refugees being housed at the Joint Base in NJ continues till Tuesday 14 September. A festive brunch was enjoyed by all on the grounds of the parish, and offered a time for the Archbishop to speak and encourage the faithful in their work and ministry in the greater Princeton area.
