[Cleveland, OH] - On the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, March 13, His Eminence Archbishop Michael visited the headquarters of ZOE For Life, known as ZOE House, in Cleveland, Ohio. ZOE For Life is an Orthodox Christian initiative which affirms the value of all life by providing nonjudgmental, confidential support and education during and after an unplanned pregnancy, offering numerous practical resources to encourage women in unplanned pregnancies to carry their babies to term. More details about the mission and the needs of ZOE For Life in Cleveland can be found at www.zoeforlife.org.
His Eminence remarked, “It was a blessing and an inspiration for me to observe first-hand the labor of love that the leaders of ZOE For Life in Cleveland are offering, to women who face the great struggle of an unplanned pregnancy. Our Faith teaches us that all life is sacred, from womb to tomb; and in a culture that largely denies this God-given truth, it is a great encouragement to see many dedicated Orthodox Christians giving so deeply of themselves on behalf of these frightened and vulnerable women.”
Within our Diocese, ZOE For Life has a Southern Tier Chapter based in Binghamton, NY, which will soon be opening a physical facility for women to receive needed assistance. For more information on the Southern Tier Chapter, contact Matushka Marge Kappanadze at mkappanadze@gmail.com.
May the Lord richly bless the crucial ministry of ZOE For Life!
