Two music workshops will be held in conjunction on Saturday, 19 July 2014 at Saint Nicholas Church in Cohoes NY. Sponsored by the Commission on Liturgical Music [CoLM], one workshop (for adults) is “Basic Conducting: What’s All That Hand-Waving About?” and the other workshop (for children) is “Making Music with Kids: An Orthodox Experience.” The workshop leaders are well-known and highly esteemed in the area of liturgical music: Dr. David Drillock & David Lucs. These outstanding opportunities will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. Lunch and all materials are included in the registration fee.
