Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Rochester NY rejoiced during a visit by Archbishop Michael on 16-18 April 2016. His Eminence arrived for Great Vespers on Saturday evening, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, visited with several ministry leaders on Monday and then attended the regularly scheduled Parish Council meeting that evening. “Your Eminence, we are honored and blessed to have you here with us,” said Albert Joseph III (parish council warden) in welcoming the diocesan hierarch. The parish presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Archbishop Michael as a contribution to the Distinguished Diocesan Benefactors [DDB] program.
